STATUS DISPLAY
Vital TARDIS control functions are displayed here,
and any malfunctions are identified.

THE TIME ROTA
This is the most important part of the console room, the Time-Rota monitors the power flowing into the TARDIS from the Eye of Harmony, whilst the TARDIS is in flight the central column moves at varying speeds, indicating power levels.

THE CONSOLE
The six sided console allows the operator to control all the vital controls of the TARDIS probably the most important part on the console is the dematerialization circuit this circuit powers the TARDIS into the time vortex; the link to all times and places if this circuit was to fail in full flight the TARDIS would either brake up, return to the previous destination or leave time and space into another world or continuum.

HOLOGRAPHIC SCANNER
This screen shows an image of the ships surroundings, it can also be programmed to show the universe, the TARDIS' current shape (i.e. the police box) and the make/model of the TARDIS.

DESTINATION MONITOR
this device allows the TARDIS to locate any point in time and space, it also allows the operator to see what the atmosphere is like and if programmed in the planets reference number and planet name. The device regularly works incorrectly on the doctor’s TARDIS.

JETESON SWITCH
This is very difficult to control it allows the operator to delete rooms or change rooms about in an emergency. The operator does not have control of the deleting process and although programmed not to delete the console room has done on some of the type 40s this is why all the type 40s were recalled from duty. The TARDIS weakens with every jettison.

CHAMELEON CIRCUIT
This circuit is supposed to drive the shape changing shell of the TARDIS when functioning correctly the TARDIS changes shape to blend in with its surroundings, the shape is determined by a huge network of memory banks that contain information about the planet the TARDIS is on (just like the destination monitor) and what to change into. If the planet has not been visited before the TARDIS will automatically scan the landing area before materialization and program in a suitable form for the TARDIS.

THE INTERNAL CAMELEON CIRCUIT
As well as the outside shell the inside of the TARDIS can be redesigned. The computers in the TARDIS library contain knowledge of any planet history, which the TARDIS can use to redesign all or part of the inside. The circuit can be used when the TARDIS becomes unstable the special molecules that make up the TARDIS re-energies in much the same way as the time lords regeneration.

CONTROL PLATFORM
The floor of the console room is sensitive to all types of non- - galifreyan life forms. The doctors TARDIS is especially sensitive to human ancestry this is because the doctor is half human the TARDIS blends with the operator and when ever he/she is in trouble it will know the powers of the TARDIS can reach out to the operator for at least 30000 miles in the doctors case the TARDIS is a kind of pushing tool for regeneration when the body is weak and needs to be refreshed.

THE TARDIS LIBRARY
The doctor's library contains thousands of books and computers from different times and galaxies the TARDIS gathers all its information from this huge collection of computers if working correctly the TARDIS would use this information to change its shell or the inside (if programmed into the computer).

THE CLOISTER ROOM
This chamber is in the very heart of the TARDIS if it comes into trouble or the TARDIS faces immanent destruction the cloister bells ring out loudly to warn the operator. These bells are also used on galifrey to mark the death of rassilon.

THE EYE OF HARMONY
The power from that energises the TARDIS comes from here it is normally located inside the cloister room. The eye also gives the timelords the essential energy to regenerate. The eye consists of a trapped star in suspended super nova if the power was to escape the TARDIS would explode this explosion would be large enough to wipe out several solar systems although the TARDIS only carries a small part of the super nova it holds power that can only be contained by the eye.

THE TARDIS WALLS
The special walls of the TARDIS contain all the electronics and computers that control the TARDIS they are specially adapted to be able to change shape or be deleted in the case of an emergency. The TARDIS weakens each time the jetteson switch is used so it is recommended that the operator does not use it often
